The history of Sonora is the history of a pure geometric form, pursued by Magistretti throughout his life. The creative path followed by the architect and designer in his projects is, in fact, an absolutely peculiar path: a constant companion along the way for him is geometry, the inspiring principle, always and in any case, simplification. Born in 1976, available in numerous materials and sizes, the Sonora is one of the emblems of this creative path and has remained, throughout its 40 years, one of the most beloved lamps not only by the public but also by Magistretti himself.
